GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Working in partnership with the Assistant Director and Associate Director of Graduate Admission, the Senior Enrollment Advisor is responsible for managing the recruitment process from inquiry to matriculation, for prospective students seeking admission into Illinois Tech’s graduate programs. This position will report directly to the Associate Director of Graduate Admission.
COMMUNICATIONS
Communication will include verbal and written communication with prospective applicants and applicants, internal staff and faculty. Verbal and written communication with external stakeholders such as, local companies, alumni, and external college faculty and staff. Excellent presentation skills.
CUSTOMER SERVICE
Exceptional level of customer service is needed for this position. Daily interaction with prospective students and internal and external stakeholders.
Special Schedule Requirements
Work location: will need to work on both the main campus and the downtown campus as needed. Some evening and weekend hours will be required. Domestic and some international travel. Night and weekends may be required.

Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree and at least three (3) years relevant work experience required. Master’s degree in higher education, business administration, or other related field preferred
Minimum of two (2) years experience in college recruiting and admission required
Knowledge & Skills
Computer skills required: word processing, spreadsheets, email, experience with CRM systems-Salesforce, Banner preferred
Strong communication skills including ability to actively listen; professional written communication skills; public speaking skills
Ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a diverse work environment;
Ability to be attentive to details, be accurate, be precise
Able to work independently with minimal supervision
Welcomes a fast paced environment where priorities are constantly changing- ability to show initiative; organize workflow; manage one or more projects and handle frequent interruptions
Ability to plan, organize, and implement virtual events and visit options; ability to travel to graduate fairs and other outreach related events

Physical Environment and Requirements
Typical work environment is an office setting
Regular computer keyboard, mouse and monitor use. Repetitive arm, hand, finger motions.
Sitting for long periods of time at desk, exposure and ability to participate in a virtual setting for long periods of time, and the ability to drive/ride in a car and/or fly for specific travel.
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
Long or irregular work hours during peak recruitment periods, must be able to travel overnight when required.

Valid driver’s license required.
Key Responsibility
Campus Relationship Management (10%): Work closely with assigned academic departments and programs to meet assigned enrollment goals for the university. Act as the liaison between graduate admission and academic department. Monitor admission funnel and partner with the broader admission team to achieve admission targets.

Prospective Relationship Management (30%): Provides high level service to prospective students regarding degree and other programs, application processes, financial aid and other determining factors for enrollment.

Recruitment Events (20%): Execute and participate in recruitment events such as decision days, university discover week, informational sessions, and a variety of educational graduate fairs off campus.
